    Those stuck with slow broadband connections have another reason to look across the Pacific with envy. Some South Korean cable Internet subscribers are now able to get 100Mbps connections thanks to deployment of pre-DOCSIS 3.0 hardware by cable operator ARRIS.

    actulally, their speeds are rated at 100mbps or in theory ~10MBps and yung data that you download are in Bytes (MB, GB). but in actual cguro hindi naman naabot yung max speed na yan. kahit sa LAN transfers it doesnt get past 8MBps and usually nasa 3-4mbps lang.hehe copying a 700MB file in LAN takes about 3-5 for me. pero sa internet ibang usapan siguro coz isa pang factor to consider is yung server kung san ka nagdodownload. hindi naman lahat ng connections ngayon support that speeds.hehe siguro when they are downloading from a server in their country lang that supports that speed, dun lang ma-utilize fully yung connection nila.

    ---------
    edit: may mali pala yung LAN transfer ko is 3-4MBps not mbps.hehe

    1 Mbps = 1024 Kbps = 128 KBps

    b = bits
    B = bytes
    8 bits = 1 Byte
