Hi PDSLians,
It's been a while since I started a thread like this although most of my post are you can say irrelevant and no sense at all. But I would like to ask every PDSL members, How are we today?
I quietly agreed @ unwired's call that PDSL is gettimg "boring" and the only thing that bind us together are the rants, flames and trolled threads. I would like to ask some question about my fellow PDSLians. How can we improve this community many of us Found are new home when we first saw what Pinoydsl.net is all about honestly I owe many things in this community, since it is the first forum I registered,.
I missed those topics with a "sense" and you learn about things both in IT field and social fielsd. I miss those person I barely see posting 'coz maybe they get tired on redundant questions and non-sense questions.
Anyway Please let this thread neutral one... @ co-PDSLians let's ignore them and post something that PDSL: will be benifit.
Naalala ko nung una-una klo pa lang dito masasabi ko immature talaga ako nun pero sa pagdaan ng panahon sana may maibahagi din tayo dito sa Pinoydsl. namimiss ko na mga dating members dit hehehe na hinihintay ko post nila para matuto ng bago.
sir Dyo- I learn from this guy the most.
Sir Primus - one of a kind Teacher.
Unwired - he is a encouragement to me.
sir Armand - Linux sensei ko
Vanix - I learn from this guy too...

1. bakit boring?
{A} dahil madami ka nang natutunan dito.... naramdaman mo na wala ng sense ung post nila dahil alam mu na.... maybe madami silang pakukulang dahil sa "search before post" pero hindi mo sila masisi.. kahit naman sino gusto ng quick answer..
suggestion:
1. reconstruct ng forum. pwede mag lagay ng bagong category and delete ng hindi na kailangan (kung possible)...
2. create ng useful thread and sticky for each category..
3. mod?? anu ibig sabihin para sa inyo ng pagiging mod? para lang bang mag moderate ng mga usapan pag umiinit na? ako hindi ko alam pero madaming nakaka mis interpret nito.. normally ang tingin nila sa mod ai "nuetral" dapat pero aminin na natin na hindi un ang ngyayari..hindi lang dito kung di sa iba pang forum..
4. more active news bank.. useful ito para sa mga old timer para hindi ma bore.
5. one way to limit useless question. quota before maka pag post, in this way makakapag tiyaga sila mag search..
6. change change change.....

IMO, it is natural for a community/forum to become diverse in terms of it's memberships, and it is ultimately upto the same members if things improve or eventually go south.

pansin ko rin medyo naging iba na nga ang pdsl since nung sumali ako 2007. pero andito pa naman tayo. share ideas na lang muna tayo para mabuhay ulit natin itong pdsl. ako once na umupo at gumamit na ng pc 2 forums lang lagi nakaopen sakin. alam niyo na kung ano tong mga ito ehehe...

Sir, kung sa palagay mo eh kailangan mo pang banatan si palevelmode (in-behalf of AK, I presume), then dapat pag-paliwanagin mo din si AK kung ano dahilan ng trolling behavior niya. Tignan mo ang posts ni AK prior to yung reply ni palevelmode sa "toinks" thread ni AK. Sa palagay mo, bakit kaya siya sinabihan na "spammer"?
Para malinaw ang lahat at maayos na ito.

I share the same sentiment with palevelmode. Bihira na din ako mag-post.. Mostly lurking lang. Main reason is that I can't think of anything to post that would contribute to this community.
Para nawala na yung sense of bayanihan dito. Ang dami na ding stupid topics ang nagsulputan.
In my opinion I think that mods should be given the privelege to remove/delete inappropriate topics para di na humaba pa ang usapan.
Moreover, it would also be better that we become welcoming to new members even to "noob" questions. Let's stop being snooty and adapt a more welcoming approach.
