WiMax

  1. hey every one for those interested on WiMax broadband internet just PM me for qoutations.

    - 6Mbps up to 75Mbps
    - Up to 60kms
    - None-line of sight
    - Water Friendly

recomended for companies who needs E1 connections upwards and those that have multiple E1 connections.

price is just equevalent to one(1) E1 connection but capable of reaching 6Mbps.

    :D

  2. Is WiMax broadband advisable for home use?
is it affordable enough for home use?

    what areas are currently covered?

  3. nope, im afraid its not advisable for home use, as of now. coz the minimum requirement for a deployment is you must have atleast a bandwidth requirement of 2Mbps(E1) to be able to maximize it. plus it is not affordable yet for home use. price is equivalent to an E1 Leased Line connection ($930/month minimum), but its a lot better than an E1 Leased Line connection because you are speed is not limited to your E1 pipe but can reach up to 6Mbps. Plus monthly bill is based on a monthly average Bandwidth consumption from your MRTG.

areas covered are metro manila and nearby provinces(subject to feasibility)

  4. what company is this?

  5. Tridel Technologies, Inc.

If you do know some companies who are using a multiple E1 Leased Line connections please tell them about this as this is a cheaper and better alternative than having a multiple E1 connections.

anywayz, if you do want to inquire just email me at letamayo@tridel.net

    thanks.

suggestion lang... sana meron kayong pang consumer... hehehehe

    at least para ok...

  7. Well hindi pa siguro by this year. Im sure there will be WiMax for consumer in the coming years as the technology is going that way. We expect WiMax to be full blown by the last quarter of this year, so hopefully ang pang consumer will come out by the last quarter pa ng 2006 or baka sa 2007 pa. it really depends on how fast is its progress.

    thanks mcflurry

  9. :)) hindi naman siguro ganun katagal.....yung projections namin is nakabased sa existing price nya ngayon. syempre medyo mahal pa siya ngayon kasi bago palang. everything starts sa mahal naman tapos habang pamura ng pamura parami naman ng parami ang nag aavail, just like DSL way back in the late 90's. it really depends on the price of the equiptment.....and kung gano ka bilis magkaroon ng mga subscriber na willing mag shell out ng malaking pera ngayn.

eh di ba hindi naman bago yan? Wi-Max technology... other provider uses that same technology like Meridian and Itextron... and broadband philippines... they been in that kind of business for sometimes now.. ... eh wats new with your company and offer? i mean technology are just the same... wats most important is the quality of service...

I think nowadays with rising competition in broadband nobody would shell out money for a high price... 7 out of 10 of office/small business/SME/school/university who woul like to have E1 connection that is cheaper....

ps: walang mahal na equipment, pero meron walang ka competisya... eh bakit ngayon babaan sila.. its because of competition.. ek ek lang mahal.. kaya si Goks.. aba wala siya paki-alam kung predatory pricing siya.. heheheheh... he is just taking advantage of economic situation.. tutal yung technology di naman kailang nang oil... hehehehe

    hehehe la lang....

  11. he he :)

Wifi pa rin po yun, galing po kasi ako sa meridian, at wifi lang po ang gamit nila, ginagamitan lng nila ng high gain anttenas. the diffrence bet the wifi and wimax is the distance of coverage and the bandwidth capacity. yung wifi that they are using can cover up to 15-25 kms, yung non line of sight na receiver yun. yung wimax naman can reach up to 60 kms from the base station. then yung bandwidth naman 6mbs ang min. up to 48 mbs ang kaya.

wifi alam ko pang LAN lang yun as in Wireless Fidelity... WiMax.. means Wireless over Microwave Access...right?

so I guess pareho kayong WiMax.. kaso yung WiMax nila ay pang 15Km lang i think gamit nila ay CDMA the same technology uses in Cellular.. although mostly sa pinas is using TDMA a.ka GSM... at yung Wi_max nyo pang 60 kms...which i dont know what kind of radio modulation ang gamit ninyo hehehe

    :D  8)

  13. yun nga rin ang alam ko but sabi nila nung dun pa ako nag work WiFi lang daw ang gamit nila at not wimax. kasi kahit yung wifi microwave din naman ang gamit, yun lang ang wimax is more powerful than wifi. cguro it has something to do with the frequency na gamit nila.

I dunno what CDMA is but i know yung gamit nila are GFSK and OFDM. Yung GFSK nila is for upto 15kms w/c still requires line of sight. yung OFDM naman upto 25kms w/o line of sight.

    :D  :D

    @dookie

business naman kinuha ko eh.. bakit di nila kami priority... hehehe oo nga yun nga sabi nila... sa timog yung base station nila.. pero its 15kms or 16kms south namin sila.. eh bakit di pwede? ay naku dami rin naman subds dito sa north.. ah... hrehehehehe...

OFDM and GFSK are only techniques being uses...in radio signal ... CDMA is the frequency multiplex on how to share frequency among subsriber... parang GSM it uses TDMA in sharing frequency... kung baka parang traffic management yung CDMA/TDMA yung OFDM and GFSK ay gaya nang sinabi... NLOS technique... ...

pwede sana pero kung over 3,000 or 4,000 wag na.. ehehehehehe... liit lang naman business ko...hehehehehe

bulubundkin at puno nang punong kahoy... dito kaya yan?

sa sateliite... wala silang type kung residential or business since downlink lang naman yun... DVB Receive only... kasi uplink nila eh dial-up... kahit anong ISP.. i think PLDT at Pacific ok daw....
