    Hi Pinoydsl

For your perusal. Here is a graph of different telcos and their major peering for IP Transit and co-peer. The Percentage is how much of the traffic goes to a specifc Transit.

This is accurate as per last check.

9 Transit connection with majority of traffic goes to PCCW, NTT and Cogent.

10 Transit connection with majority of traffic goes to PACNET (ASIANETCOM), IP-Converge (with link with PCCW), and Teleglobe (they have their own housing)

11 Transit with majority of traffic goes to PACNET (Asianetcom), AT&T, and MCI (UUNET),

3 Transit only with majority of traffic goes to MCI (UUNET), PACNET (Asianetcom) and Level3

    Eastern Telecom

4 transit only with mjority of traffic goes to PACNET (Asianetcom), AT&T, and Korea IX

    hehehe no worries...

yes if ISP has many link for redundancy and load balance, Telco ISP has lesser chance of getting downtime in case 1 major link will have outage.. they can re route the connection to other link.. also having many link this will lessen congestion... load balancing..

ibig sabihin ba master D pag konti transit nagtitipid yung telco sa bayarin nila?

This is part of BGP Routing and CIDR

If you are looking for telco that has more link for redundancy and load balance and fail over you can analyze their AS number thru BGP

There are lots of tools such as BGP Looking Glass ang BGP Route View

Bare in mind, the number does not provide efficiency...

You have to check their Network Center on how they efficient they are in monitoring and addressing the issue

However, it will also show how telco provide efficiency in connecting to continental area.. having another link for ASIAN based or Europe Base will give you a sign of network efficiency.. since the packet will no longer need to be routed to US...

Most link to Asia are PCCW PACNET and Teleglobe

    Europe has Tiscali/Telia and FLAG

Noted sir! thanks for the advise.

As of now lahat sila gusto kay Try-I

    Prospects are:
    1. Try-I
    2. Eastern
    3. Prime Communication (dating pacnet) (ito ang tingin kong okay eh.)

hmmm... basta importantante ang network efficiency

for tri-isys their IP transit is eith IPVG (local of PCCW) and Bayantel..

    you know the eastern na

    as for prime communication

it has several link IPVG, Globe, PLDT and ASIANET or PACNET (ANC)

now for the service deliver? well check mo na lang kung sino kaya i maintain SLA... but i would suggest third party like tri isys or Prime Communication ...
