you can make a squidbox in your pc-timer i.e cafesuite, wintimer etch.
    software Virtualbox.

as you can see in my windows7 operating system. I install pfsense and ipcop using Virtualbox.

*error setup pfsense in virtualbox (www.virtualbox.org new version) . i found out na ang default setup ni virtualbox para kay pfsense is IDE mode.? why because he is using SATA disk. so may "conflict". a quick solusyon is to change IDE format to SATA so mag create ka ulit ng *.vdi etch.

    :)

    EDIT: how to create?
just remove IDE format vdi file, and create a new one SATA vdi file. (may option IDE,SATA etch.)

3 nics (1 onboard, 2 PCS nics) ba gamit mo sir?

ngsetup ako before kaso after 20mins wala ng net ang buong workstations, including host pc
    OS:win7 32bit
    vmware workstation

    ito setup ko
onboard nic (lan) >>>> to switch/hub (para sa ibang PC)
    NIC1 (wan) <<<<< internet (SMARTBRO)
    NIC2 (local lan) <<<< switch/hub

onboardNIC-checked vmware bridged protocol only-properties(LAN) - dedicated solely for VMware
PCI NIC1–checked vmware bridged protocol only–properties (WAN) - dedicated solely for VMware
PCI NIC2– checked all except vmware bridged protocol only–properties - eto yung loop back from switch to lan

    vmware workstation
    virtual network editor
    vmnet0(bridged) – onboard NIC
vmnet1(host only) – as is (default)
    vmnet2(bridged) – PCI NIC1
    vmnet3(custom)
    vmnet4(custom)
    vmnet5(custom)
    vmnet6(custom)
    vmnet7(custom)
    vmnet8(NAT) – default

    vmware machine
    network adapter – vmnet0
    network adapter2 – vmnet2

    4 NIC's

    2 nics on ipcop
    2 nics on pfsense

    specs
    quad-core, 4gb ram, 1tera hdd

so ang naging setup ko ganito
    modem>>ipcop >>pfsense>>lan

ipcop 192.168.1.1 <--- ginawa ko Firewall (ang sarap kasi ng p2p blocker nito)
pfsense 192.168.2.1 <--- proxy server (100mbps internet cache to my lan(squid-lusca)

    *si pfsense connected sa ipcop.

ito ang the best na set-up ko using virtualbox.

    EDIT:
    pfsense DHCP
    192.168.2.2~192.168.2.254

*192.168.2.2 ip para sa wintimer/cafesuite server.

    @kjshoot2ill

VMWare ka di ba? i already used it using vmware pero 2 NICs lang. 1 USB WiFi and 1 onboard NIC. ung loopback ko kasi is 1 computer lang for testing. ito ang setup ko:

    onboard NIC1 - LAN
    USB WiFi NIC2 - WAN

    vmnet0 (bridged) - onboard NIC
    vmnet1 (host only) - default
    vmnet2 (bridged) - USB WiFi

sa WiFi NIC2 properties - disable po lahat except for the vmware bridge protocol
