i'm into rent a van service and plano ko sana maglagay ng wifi connection. notice ko kasi sa mga bus merun na and saw one sa nissan urvan but di ko afford to buy a new van. hope you can share your ideas. TIA!
The buses use 3G wifi-routers. For DIY, you'd need a 3G-USB Stick or SIM (unlimited data access plan preferred), a 3G broadband router with WiFi (ex. CDRKing CW-3G53: USB WAN, DC12V), a lighter adaptor, and some mounting gear. You just need to properly adapt the router's power supply to the vehicle DC supply. The thing here is, once your WAN device gets no signal, then naturally wala kang Internet. Pero, detected pa rin yung LAN mo as the WiFi connection. Kadalasan, ganito rin naman nangyayari sa wifi buses, especially if travelling in a dead-spot or no-coverage area. Also, depending on the coverage area of the 3G provider, your actual Internet "speed" can vary from 32Kbps (GPRS) to 7.5Mbps (HSxPA).
using usbstick internet+laptop useless pag tumatakbo yung sasakyan. paputol-putol maski full ang signal. nag sasayang ka lang ng load hehehe.
