I just have a question about this error I've been getting. It says something like "Cannot stablish a connection.. DNS..problem " I can't remember excatly what it says (sorry). What does this mean? By the way, my isp is bayandsl 768kbps/sec. The modem looks ok because the dsl was lit and also the ethernet connection seems no problem.
You get the message on your browser? Test first: 1) Open a Command Prompt, and then type nslookup and press enter... 2) Type yahoo.com at the > prompt and wait for the results 3) If you see something like: Non-authoritative answer: Name:yahoo.com Address: 98.137.149.56 Name:yahoo.com Address: 209.191.122.70 Name:yahoo.com Then your DNS entries would seem correct at that point. If not, then you could try using other DNS servers like 8.8.8.8 or 208.67.222.222 on your connection to test. You can insert these values in the TCP/IP Properties of your PC's LAN card, or your router. 4) Try Opening your browser and access some websites.
