Globe DSL Philippines released a press realease enforcing a bandwith cap of 1Gigabyte - per day in all their DSL services. According to the press release they are implementing what they called 'fair-use' policy. via: Unwired Tech Blog
... so in effect it will affect only the... "5 percent of abusive subscribers (who) use 80 percent of the available broadband Internet bandwidth"... ... in order to.. "ensure consistency and reliability of connection for use of the greater majority of broadband subscribers,.." ... sana ganun nga ang mangyari...
^in short the more sites you visit, the more data you've downloaded, such as loading of websites and watching online video streams and downloading the higher the bandwidth you consume.
^ yes sir every download nyo ng data, for example visited a site, the logos, images, and info eh dinadownload to your temp file para maview nyo sa browser meaning usage of bandwidth na yun
download a meter like netpersec, dumeter or netmeter then go to a website. kitang kita ang amount of data DL and UL
crap .. that kinda sucks .. oh well .. kelan daw nila i-i-implent 'to? pero parang nde rin tama na gawin nila yun lalo na yung kung work mo revolves around viewing different websites.
^ Hindi talaga sya tama hehe. Tapos pag naubos na yung 1GB limit, disconnected sa internet buong buwan?
its not unlimited internet anymore... 1gb is impossible... i think 3gb pwede per day pero 1gb.... hmmmm... and its not clear kung sino sino ang affected business plans ba or personal plans lng or prepaid.. or all of them...
