nung post paid pa kami sa PLDT, i use bonanza..attractive kasi yung package..akalain mo, FREE access ka sa mamadaling araw...yun nga lang pahirapan ng dial... speed is ranging from 30-50 kbps..

now, naka tele-pwede na ko... no choice !!! PLDT vibe lang..

Only PLDT vibe can use in ur PLDT prepaid line...
naka PLDT pwede ako ngayon, and using VIBE...
    P 1 per 10 minutes.
    Speed is 35-45 kbps

checking lang ng e-mail.. pero surfing and downloading, sa office ko nagagawa...

was using Tri-Isys, kaso nagtaas sila ng rate so I switched to I-Manila. Faster access is somewhat also based on your PC specs/modem. Tried the Web accelerator, but uninstalled it. Yes, it accelerates your web access. But it lowers the quality of the picture/s (jpeg, gif, etc.). Bilis nga access mo, di mo naman makita ung mga litrato. XD

  12. Postpaid : Virtual Asia, I-Manila. Prepaid : Go! by Eastern

Used Virtual Asia from 1995 to 2000. They're still pretty fast and stable.

I-Manila is now my current backup connection in case DSL goes down...and here in Malabon, PLDT disconnects regularly for almost every 30 minutes when you access before 10pm.

Both providers gave me around 3.5-7k when downloading via HTTP. In other terms ... around 6-8 minutes per MB. Not bad for dial-up.

Now for Prepaid ... Go! by Eastern Telecoms was the fastest I've tried.

i-Manila is the fastest dialup and most of all the most relaiable.

    Ang alam ko, pwede!

  16. dialup parin ako ngaun unfortunately huhuhu.... ive tried alot of prepaid cards like Flash, Philweb, Kamikaze, Blast, Warpspeed(by infocom), Surfmaxx, Evolve etc... at marami pang iba na hindi kilala hehehe nakalimutan ko yung isa na kulay brown ang card na parang credit card ang tigas that was way back 2000 pa ang mahal pa ng prepaid internet card nun hehehehe tyaga tyaga lang

top favorites as of this moment in terms of reliable and fast conxn as well as having free access... Ispbonanza(now called Ispx) and Nitro(by mozcom)... yung Ispx sulit na sulit ang bayad mo lalo na kapag bumili ka nung may free access.... yung Nitro naman ok din altho yung free access is only 6hrs compared sa 8hrs ng Ispx but Nitro has 30hrs of regular load and expires for 60 days...

Halos pare-parehaslang naman ang speed nila, madalas ka lang ma-DC sa ibang ISP based in my own experience. :(

  18. noon na nasa pasig pa ako, way back 1999-2001, nakakaabot ako ng 54kbps using globe line and any prepaid card, bagong kabit lng yata globe sa area nun kaya malinis linis pa linya ewan ko lng ngayon, dito na kasi ako sa cavite ngayon...

ok sa akin ispx (isp bonanza) madalas kasi magloko digitel adsl dito sa cainta.
but wayback 1997, edsamail ok din speed; then i tried amanet na naging aguilent na nawala na...balita ko nabankrupt dahil sa mga ilang loko-loko na student ng ama

Sakin mabilis ang Surfmaxx and ISP Bonanza. Pero kung kaya mo naman magplan na dial-up, mag I-Manila ka na at 399/month unlimited internet.
