I have this project and I am looking for Philippine based WebHosting company. What I am looking are cheap, preferred unlimited disk space, domain included, unlimited email.

My first choice is Nokiahost but the disk space is small and I am also considering philhosting.

Anybody have some idea where to find good deals?

Just a tip, stay away from hosts which do offer "unlimited" plans. :)

Is there such thing as "unlimited" gigs of space?
Just think of this, servers are also computers right? Get the point? :D

You have a point, but we are already living in the age of cloud computing. We have what we call as collaborative hosting using cloud computing. It is true that servers use computers, but we have which we call as storage pool which is composed of different servers that are continually upgraded by its service provider. If one falls the other one serves as a fall back, do you get it... Vague ang cloud computing technology for those who didn't experience yet its implementation.

    I can give you one.

As far as I know, Unlimited Space means you can add as much data as you want.

I really like nokiahost but the space is little small, my site is around 100MB eh...

@klyster, paki PM na lg bro, btw kita ko sa philhosting pangalan mo...:)

I did get the point. Kaso, I'm still worried.

Same concept with ISP's lang siguro 'to with the concept "up to". I've been with those big guys offering "unlimited" features. And I can't really tell they're great - ang hahanapin mo sa kanila is support once na nagdown ang website mo. Reliability nang site. Kung meron kang "unlimited" plan, lalo na't shared hosting lang kadalasan ang ganun. Hindi ka nag-iisa sa server.

Kung kasamahan mo is an mp3 database or download site na malakas kumain ng resources. Most probably, you're website will go up and down since the resources that you are supposed to be getting ay napupunta sa particular competitor or mp3 database or download site. :)

for me.. mahalaga pa rin yong support... kahit unli pa yan kung ang support ay mahirap ma contact.. malaking problem yan para sa nagpa host... and also the security ng server... kasi don sa dati kong napag host-san ay mura nga pero mahirap yong support nila at malimit mapasok ng hackers yong server nila.. bad for me then.. so i moved to other hosting...
