Bayantel update on slow international traffic

    hi guys,

    im not sure if you have noticed that for the past few weeks
    connection is very slow.. even web browsing is slow...

    if you use bayantel proxy server, connection is fast.
    else its as slow as a turtle.

    after 5 days of having this connection, i contact 181 about it.
    and they told me that there is really a problem with international carrier.

    the international carrier is currently restoring it and upgrading the bandwidth
    so hopefully it would be much faster.

    hopefully it would be as soon as possible..

    actually,2 months na ito,inamin din sa akin ng bayantel na congestion nga ang problem, pero may equiptment na daw sila na binili,pero di pa na peperfect....so siguro in a few weeks/months we can see improvements already! Tanggap kayo ng tanggap ng subscriber,tapos di pala kaya ng system niyo pag marami na!gusto ko mag mura,kaso bawala at mod ako.#$%#$# nalang....
     



  3. I have noticed for the past few weeks and Bayantel has not notified us about it. Dito ko lang nakuha ang confirmation. Sana maayos na.

    syempre di nila sasabihin yun.....at kung minalas malas ka pa,sasabihin ng kausap mo na agent PC mo may diperensiya !
     



  5. I just called them up tonight. Hindi ko na matiis yung connections speed. Paying for 1.5 mbps and browsing is so slow..................

    Pwede bang mag file ng class action suit lahat ng subscribers na hindi binibigyan man lang ng notice na may problem pala eh kay tagal nang kabagal.
    Sino may kakilalang lawyer na pwede mag handle nito.
     



  6. It was acknowledge by bayantel that they are having problems with their international carriers. In my case, slowdown is caused by high packet loss

    Sana maayos na nila ang ganyang problema para naman ganahan ako mag browse sa net. Nakakatamad mag browse pag masyado mabagal eh.

    finally theres improvement.
    browsing the web without using a proxy is now ok :)

    i think its almost fully restored.

  10. Call 411 2000 to check the status. They claim the problem is with the international site and hopefully can be corrected by 24 April. It helps if subscribers let them know.

    False Alarm! ganun pa rin,bumibilis lang pag mga tipong 2 am - 7 am! congestion talaga problem!

    Partial palang mga friends. Full restoration hopeully by 3rd week of may pa. Mga leche talaga ISP sa bansa natin!

    I just got a call from one of their cs reps regarding slow International traffic. Here's what they told me:

    1. All are affected
    2. Another cause is congested line. Too many customers (Ala PLDT)
    3. They just added another "pipe" and they are still in the process of upgrading and restoration.
    4. They added / upgraded some equipments last April 27 & 28.
    5. Upgrading and restoration "maybe" finish before the month of May ends.
    6. The added "pipe" is temporary until they finish upgrading their equipments.
    7. The "added" pipe was from Globe telecom. They rented it out for a month.

    Well, thats all. As for me, I did noticed a big improvement on my connection.

    napansin ko lang sa bayantel is that pag bakasyon april-may mabagal talaga network nila.hehe take a hint... :lol: last year, i had the worst experience at this time of year but bumubuti naman pagbalik eskwela na.hehe

    1st residential kme..ka2bstrip ang bgal so ngpa2lit kme ng 4 buss..taz after application..ok n..pg dting nmn ng bill pu*a..ka2gigil..
    sbe nla ksma n dw ung vat ska free phone dw..taz pg dting ng bill la nmn libre..
    taz bgal p dn..hassle..cra negosyo..lipat n tau s globe..blita ku ok s globe..kso dmi hinihingi pg buss..
